Olaty, Inc. works in cooperation with NU-KA İthalat İhracat Paz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. for the international commercialization of Defne Essencia products and holds worldwide exclusive sales authorization for these products.
Organic Production in the Mediterranean Region
Defne Essencia products originate from documented organic production in Türkiye's Mediterranean region, an area whose climate, landscape, and agricultural traditions provide favorable growing conditions for aromatic and botanical crops.
The ORSER EK-1 Organic Plant Production Project identifies the certified agricultural areas in Isparta, Eğirdir and Gökçehüyük and records key production information including individual land parcels, cultivated areas, crop types, organic production status, and estimated production quantities.
Among the crops documented in the certified production areas are rose, lavender, and calendula — botanicals closely associated with the region's aromatic plant cultivation.
From Field to Documented Organic Production
Organic production begins at identified agricultural parcels rather than with a general claim about the finished product.
The certification documentation connects specific cultivation areas with specific crops and records their organic production status. This creates a documented chain between the land where the botanicals are grown and the certified production system under which they are cultivated.
