Türkiye's Mediterranean region is at the heart of our botanical production and sourcing network, reflecting the region's rich botanical diversity and long-established relationship with aromatic plants.
While many of our botanicals originate in Türkiye and the Mediterranean region, certain specialized botanicals that are not naturally or commercially available in Türkiye may be sourced from other Mediterranean countries or other regions of the world.
Origin information is identified on the product packaging, providing transparency about where each botanical comes from.
Organic Certification
Applicable organic production and sourcing activities are subject to control and certification by ORSER.
ORSER operates within the European organic certification framework and is authorized by the European Commission under Regulation (EU) 2018/848. ORSER is also a member of the European Organic Certifiers Council (EOCC).
For botanicals sourced outside Türkiye, applicable organic status and documentation are also handled within the relevant ORSER control and certification framework.
This provides a documented certification structure across our certified botanical portfolio while allowing us to offer distinctive botanicals from different origins.

Olaty, Inc. collaborates with NU-KA İthalat İhracat Paz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. for the international marketing of Defne Essencia products and holds exclusive worldwide sales authorization for these products.
Defcia provides the international online retail platform through which these products are presented and sold to customers worldwide.
